The best way you can teach any creative to build that encouraging voice is by at first being that encouraging voice! Hyping up a person who's technically not as proficient but highlighting what is there can make a person feel seen in their frustration and push through it.

I never thought it was a bad idea to make space for bad art. Like yeah as a creator you need to learn how to make for yourself but that's a learned skill. If i see someone posting art for the first time, I do make a point to like and share it cause it's tough to share yourself learning.

Everyone who tried to draw around me and started drawing LOVED it at the beginning because of their QUICK IMPROVEMENT. Then quit when they hit The Wall™️.

But it's when you hit The Wall™️ that you NEED to push through with practice!! And you gotta do it for yourself, because it's ALWAYS worth it! 😤
