Anyway, this - along with other situations, plus my ability to read and think rational thoughts - took me further from religion, and after many conversations (arguments) with my mother, I gave it up for good, and haven’t look back, and my life has been made better for it.

I looked up this asshole recently, and it seems he’s still at it, somewhere in Arkansas. He was caught harboring a fugitive sexual predator in his church AND got caught cheating AGAIN, because the dumbass can’t keep his dick in his pants, even when there are cameras in the office.

He was basically ‘exiled’ to another church a few hours away, and people from our church continued to regularly drive over there to hear him speak, disregarding the fact that he was a hypocritical bullshit artist.

The victim, meanwhile, was ostracized and made a pariah in the community.

Even at 10 years old, I knew this was horribly wrong. This man was a monster who didn’t deserve his position, much less his freedom from prosecution. The fact that the people who had the evidence to ruin his life/career let him slide and covered it up proved to me these people are pure evil.

No, he was an extremely loved and charismatic attractive white man with pretty blue eyes in a position of power.

Though I was raised in church, I can’t say that I ever actually ‘believed’, but the first thing I recall sending me down the exit path was when I was 10, the youth pastor at our church had an affair WITH A MINOR. He was ‘fired’, but not charged.

This is definitely my favorite Predator movie. Incredible cinematography, fantastic score, brutal action… It’s like The Last of the Mohicans, but with a bonus Yautja warrior. #FilmSky

The Yautja warrior’s invisibility cloak begins to fade as he goes into battle.

This has one of the best ‘reveals’ of one of the best Yautja designs of the entire series. Fucking badass.

Honestly, it might be my favorite of the entire franchise.
