Does kinda suck that it doesn’t have a micro sd card slot though. Like, it’s a portable device used to do work portably, I’d really like to be able to transfer data easily, and not being able to transfer an sd card between devices without accessories is pretty non-portable if you ask me.

Surface Pro with a neat pen and keyboard cover thing. On the screen is a sketch I’ve been working on for redesigned fantasy races since I think traditional versions of Elves, Orcs, ‘Halflings’, and Dwarves are super boring, so I made them all… uh… furries I guess… ok maybe they’re not that much more creative, but still.

Life’s been pretty good lately, but my productivity on art/sprites has been pretty low. I have hour long bus rides to/from work which steals so much time, which I COULD spend making sprites, so I got a Surface Pro 8 for myself.

Maybe this’ll help, or maybe it’s a bandaid solution. Should be fun

Pixel art practice to get back into the RoA style. The TADC cast could make fun fighters, but I’ve still got another character to finish first before trying further workshop characters. They’re still fun to translate into the style.

I do dread eventually trying Zooble though…

I've also got other things to work on as well beyond this (a Rivals of Aether mod I've been helping on, planning out reopening comms, more Jackenstein dances, learning more 3D modeling, ect.), so there's plenty that could distract me from finishing this trio again

Their old art. It's not too bad and I don't hate it, but they're also not up to my current design standards (especially since their 'bee' theming isn't super present aside from color, antenna, and wings)

Newer redesigns. They're not THAT much more monstrous than the previous versions, but the bug limbs should hopefully help make them seem more at home in the setting

At this point I’m ready to just take off my back break pads and just take the bike to a bike shop tomorrow after work, god damn it. An entire day wasted on my stupid bike…

…which I still prefer over driving.

I finally get a day where I’ve got both the time and energy to work on shit and OF COURSE my bike immediately gives me issues upon getting home.

I have been trying to fix it for the past SEVEN FUCKING HOURS and these damn break pads won’t go back into the right spots and scrape against the wheel

So how long until someone recreates as much of the Anniversary stream stuff as possible and mods it into the game? I feel like UT fans have done crazier, so I’m betting someone will try it at some point

Went to the other side of the city today during my day off so I could check out the local Warhammer store (see if maybe they had some Ogryn or something to add to my Abhuman army)… only for it to be closed SPECIFICALLY today

Well, at least now I’ve got a vague idea of the train/transit system here

Also they might’ve lowered my pay with the transfer??? I need to check on that and make certain, but if my pay is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than yeah, I’m putting in my 2 weeks. Pay was barely keeping me at my last place, a worse paycheck for more stress is NOT going to work out.

Now that I’ve started work again it feels like all I can do is eat, go to work,work, come home from work, sleep, repeat. I don’t hate the job, having coworkers who can help as much as they do is nice, but losing all of my free time… I dunno. This might not work out

Just went and watched Superman again for the third time (roommate hadn’t seen it), and just… god man… this movie really is one of my new favorites now, it’s SUCH a great adaptation of the character

Days off are coming up, forgot how much time work can suck out from daily life. Haven’t been able to do much other than work, sleep, and ride to/from work (my mistake for transferring to a location an hour’s ride away from me)

Looking forward to a day off for spriting again
