Just me wondering why face recognition on my phone wonβt recognise me.
Just me wondering why face recognition on my phone wonβt recognise me.
That was supposed to say βchapsβ. Autocorrect is clearly not very British.
Foggy today, chaos! Visibility is shocking. But Iβm definitely going for a spooky walk in the woods later.
Ooh, that looks awesome.
Ooh, now that sounds amazing. We donβt do Sunday dinners here, and Iβm used to it now, but I do miss it when I see everyone talking about theirs. Maybe Iβll do roast beef and Yorkshires one Sunday.
Iβve eaten too much. Asian buffet was too dangerous. Loads of sushi followed by noodles and lots of fried stuff and rounded off with ice cream.
Fuck them all!
Working weekend is done. Now Iβm heading home to shower and change and then go out for dinner to celebrate Kasperβs birthday. π
Oh, well that makes sense. Iβd also be happy.
I think my big coat is going to be getting put in the cupboard. Lighter jackets and hoodies will be around for a while yet. Iβm definitely learning to dress in layers now. Always need to be able to peel off a layer if the sweats come on.
Ha ha. Exactly.
Out on a walk in the sunshine without a coat. Sponsored by springtime and perimenopause.
Kasperβs mum is a sweetheart. She is the true heart of the family and is the reason theyβre such a brilliant bunch of people.
My first mother in law was a fucking nightmare. Weird, rude, not at all welcoming, no personality, no obvious emotions, other than grumpiness and moaning.
Just been for coffee and a natter with my mother in law. I love having such a lovely one.
Very small town.
And to add to that, his wife is the nurse at the surgery and he is part of a two-man singing group that performs locally. Itβs great.
Heβs a very thorough doctor. I really like him. He also likes to know all his patients, who they are and what they do and he remembers everyone. Itβs a proper village doctor feel.
The doctor was great. Said I should go in for a full MOT, have blood tests, check my pee, check my heart and make sure thereβs nothing underlying thatβs giving me symptoms, but all being well, thereβs no problem with getting some hormones to sort out all my sweatiness, sleep problems and hunger.
Yeah, it sucks. Knowing that youβll never taste that specific flavour again.
That sounds heavenly. Hope the cold gets better so it doesnβt affect your enjoyment.
Strawberry and butterscotch for me, but they were all good.
Oh, I can just imagine. Butterscotch Angel Delight used to be a joy.
Yes! I miss the flavours of my youth. Orange squash with tartrazine, and all the E numbers and sugar and MSG. Life tasted better. We have veggies and fruit for health. Let us have junk food with proper junk in just for the joy of it.
So yeah, the perimenopause is going well.
And a Pot Noodle the way they used to be when they were filled with salt and flavours.
Just had a craving for Smarties, but not that faded shit they call Smarties these days, the proper bright ones with all the chemicals that we had when I was a kid.
I would say βpoor youβ but Iβve never seen anyone so happy to be on a gurney. Did they give you some of the good stuff? Get well soon and enjoy your sofa time.
Good morning! Today is my only day off of the week. Using it to go to the doctor to see if I can get some HRT. I will also go to the gym, of course. The weather is looking good for a walk later too.
Same. Most of them can grow long enough to paint, but they flake and both middle fingers split down the middle once the nail reaches a certain length. No idea why, but theyβve done it for years now. Decades even.
