The forecast looks a lot dryer and calmer for this evening. You might even see some stars (depending on your level of light pollution).
@lengthyparsnips
I like to tinker with photos, video editing and music production on iOS and Android. I also love Formula 1, wrangling data, weather forecasting, drinking tea, solving Rubik's Cubes and music that was made in the DDR. Enjoys blocking crypto scammers.

Maybe you could find an older cat that's used to dogs? Go on, you know you want to...
I used to record the audio from TV shows like Blackadder, so that I could listen to them on tape on the bus to school. Also, for saving programs on my ZX81 and later my Sharp MZ80K.
I don't remember ever watching this, but looking forward to watching the video.
Three indifferent and one who thinks the Christmas tree must die!
That looked like a good day out, thank you for sharing it.
UK Snow Map
Thank you!
I couldn't see a link to the cool twinning map in the video. I'd love to be able to use it...
We love the Deep Dive; the Met Office YouTube (I know you're on other platforms too, but we prefer YouTube) are brilliant.

I don't suppose BSky can help me find the owner of a Belgian racing pigeon who was wearing this ring. Found sadly deceased in an English field yesterday.
I tried facebook group and a Belgian pigeon website, but no luck so far.
If I have to explain to you why it's a bad idea to use a machine that makes shit up 15-80% of the time AND destroys the environment AND contributes to rising fascism and genocide AND puts brilliant skillful creatives out of work by stealing their work, then we're already speaking different languages
Five "Club" chocolate biscuit bars from the 1980s, showing Fruit, orange, Milk, Plain and Mint varieties. Text above them reads, "Join the Club fan club."
It's easy to forget the varieties of Club bars that used to be available, now we seem to have only Mint and Orange, (is the Fruit one still a thing?) This is a still from a 1980s TV ad, displaying Fruit, Orange, Milk, Plain, and Mint. Note also the golf ball on the Plain one - bit of a wild card.
Motherfucking wind farmsβ¦
Ooh! I hadn't thought of trying that.
My ZX81 was my fist computer, but we had BBC model Bs at school.
Same, yet here's one of ours sleeping on some old hessian, using a wooden door frame as a pillow :-/
Yes! Tell me more!
I don't have any thoughts to share, but I'm really looking forward to watching the video. I love(d) George & Mildred.
@virtualstatman.bsky.social do you know how many F1 drivers' first podium was also a win?
Hedgehog? They can be quite noisy.
I'm going to calculate Ο on the Moon! And you can join in. Get your own Lunar Pi. www.kickstarter.com/projects/sta...
Thank you, Patrick; that's the stuff I needed to know.
So far this spring, we've had more sunshine than we had in the WHOLE of summer 2024!

SUMMER 2024

You got this!
Hope you recover quickly.
Have you got footage? I often have to make videos from my wife's GoPro footage to send to our local police. I'm pleased to say that the police often take action.
We're delaying too; mostly because Albert hasn't gone to bed yet. He isn't big enough to go out at night, so he's sleeping in the office. We all look forward to Albert's bedtime.
