Are they saving parking spaces? There's an old tradition in the northeast US of putting folding chairs/lawn chairs out to save parking spaces, is why I ask...
DM trick- when things are going off the rails, I'll call for a perception, intuition, investigation, or whatever the system's check is for noticing things. I then inject some kind of fresh info to give the players something new to do or place to go to get them moving forward again.

It was similar, but not identical, to BECMI. Some different mechanics, lvls1-36, hirelings&strongholds, spell research. Clean but complex; not much "how to play or DM" stuff, just rules. Mystara rocks, yeah 😁

I have a player who is always a thief. Any game, any setting, no matter the PC class or profession, she always pockets something. Notably, she has now stolen a hovertank in *3* different games (Traveller, StarFrontiers, and Gamma World). Shameless kleptomania.
