I don't relate to this anger at all
I am so relieved that you went

Tuna is bad, but shrimp is worse!
I don't like ice coffee (or coffee in general), but I think these claims are mostly ridiculous. I can imagine, however, several of my family members jumping on this as proof that word of wisdom is real.
My only advice to you is to learn how to cook dry beans BEFORE you go off grid
I don't think I've ever been blessed by blind obedience
Sounds like an interesting story
Yes! In addition to this, they are buried in the clothing that they use for temple ceremonies. I don't know how concrete the belief is currently, but the belief used to be that the righteous would rise from the grave literally, and they want to be dressed for the occasion.
I have a story about this! In short, I was in high school art class sketching the statues of Bertel Thorvaldsen, and I noticed he didn't do a statue of Judas when he put together the ones of the other apostles. I had a dream the statue of Judas came to condemn me.
That must be some evidence. I thought Mr. Longabaugh was born in Pennsylvania at the time when Mr. Young would have been in Utah. Mr. Parker definitely was a mormon, though, as were many others of "The Wild Bunch".
So, I think itβs okay to be broken.
Broken can still be beautiful. Broken can still be chosen. A broken cookie can still be a favorite cookie.
#HeartShapedTestimony #AMEN
Maybe being broken is just part of being handled, loved, and lived with. Maybe cracks donβt cancel someone's purpose. Maybe they just mean that a little more frosting was needed. /
Being broken doesnβt mean being ruined. It doesnβt mean being less sweet, and does not seem to impact being set in the center of the table. If the cookie cared, being broken may have mattered to it, but not to anything else in the universe. /
It was covered with pink frosting and red sprinkles. After frosting, it looked like all the other (not-yet-eaten) cookies. Visually it was the same, and its fate was the same as the others. It was still chosen, decorated, and eaten.
And maybe thatβs the point. /
Hereβs the part that feels like testimony meeting. Cookies are inanimate objects, and I have no intention to argue otherwise here, but what if this baked heart knew that it had been broken. /
It baked and cooled just fine with the others. When it came to frosting this giant heart, however, the kids were very excited, and overly sugared, and it was dropped. This heart hit the floor and fell into several pieces. Still, it passed the 10 second rule and was put on a plate for frosting. /
The cookies were mostly heart-shaped, but there were some cats and a snowman. Perhaps _this_ is what brought the snowstorm a few days later. We'll never know.
In any case, we had a very large heart-shaped cookie cutter. The produced heart cookie would be about 8 inches wide and 6 inches tall. /
We don't have instagram, so we made the dough from the Better Homes and Gardens recipe for Sugar Cookie cutouts (recipe in link for completeness). I let the kids choose whatever shapes they wanted the cookies to be. /
I don't go to church anymore, but it was Fast Sunday yesterday, and I have a faith-adjacent story.
CW: pointless story about a broken cookie
On Valentine's Day my little family made sugar cookies. We combined the butter, sugar, flour, and other ingredients and baked them. /
The end is not near
Thereβs a gofundme to help pay for funeral and headstone costs, keeping her blog alive and functional, and to support the Ardis E. Parshall Award at the Mormon History Association. Consider donating?

I know she was a great historian, and had a very clear way of presenting information. I never met Ardis in person, and I feel loss regardless.

Likely, but I think exmo is more common
Wait! @keepapitchinin.bsky.social has died?
I think this is why I like Enos so much.
So she can have gatherings in swimsuits while looking at the temple?
I hope your significant other didn't disappear after your journey!
