The members often will try to persuade you with (older) videos, showing awards for fighters e.g. Usually they are pre 2023 and / or for single Georgian fighters, but not for the 'Legion'.
Claims of the 'leader', still leading 2.000 men+, are just silly. Same with 'russian disinfo' or Opsec claims 🤯
In cases like this one, I always would suggest listening more to Ukrainian (account)s.
By now there are so many Ukrainian and other people stating GL is a scam, that we would be plain dumb to reject this and instead 'believe' a small group of attacking accounts only supporting themselves.

GUR released a statement replying to accusations by Slovakia that the Georgian Legion was acting on Ukrainian Intelligence's behalf to organize protests
They confirmed the Georgian Legion unit no longer exists, Mamuka left active duty in April 2023 & has no connection with GUR
There is no Georgian Legion in the army - it is merely an NGO, an interest club. A GL media repr. lied by claiming that they are subordinate to the GUR, but our intelligence stated that the GL is not part of the GUR (they run the International Legion, A3449=IL=GUR) and dismissed Fico's accusations.
I must repost this because despite the clear statements of Ukrainian authorities about the Georgian Legion certain accounts still promote the narrative that the GL is active as a military unit as of today.
At this point I can only assume they are doing it in order to harm Ukraine's interests.
