4. I'm in the process of changing my name on all socials, my website, and all the places I could think of that link to my socials or website, (6/8)

Maybe putting more attention on myself while there's already a target on my back is naive. I have amazing friends and followers, and while I'm sure there will be a lot of people who support me, I'm still anxious about how this will be received. (5/8)

I WANT those books to sell! In fact, if they sell enough copies to justify another printing, then I'll get to see my new name on them even sooner!

3. Changing my name is something I needed to do, but it is frankly terrifying, especially right now. (4/8)

2. Please do not boycott my old books for having my old name on them! Think of them as limited-edition, pre-pokemon evolution copies of Sonido Reyes books lol (3/8)

1. Sonora is not a dead name FOR ME SPECIFICALLY. Not every trans person is the same, but I have a fond relationship with my old name. It just doesn't suit me anymore, and that's okay. Call me Sonido going forward, but there's no need to avoid mentioning my old name when it's relevant. (2/8)

Sent it to friends, post it on social media, print it out and slip it under doors. This is not the time for quiet opinions.Pick 3 or 4. Do them this week.
