While we're busy cashing our Paramount shill cheques, I'm excited for the finale of Starfleet Academy to air. They've done something quite different :)

Gotta love those shill cheques and cakes shaped like the Paramount logos!😁I’ve loved how unashamedly different SFA is. It’s primarily planet-based, has a much younger group of characters and is making the most out of being further forward in the timeline. At its core, it’s still very much Trek.👏🖖
Yeah, I should think so. We’ve had half-Vulcan, half-Romulan characters for a while. Look at Saavik.
Discovery had them still both separate, as Vulcans and Romulans. It’s just the planet that’s changed its name.
I honestly never realised it was the same writer until recently. It certainly explains a lot and doesn’t help early SG-1 after they’d already had both that gratuitous nude scene and the line about Carter’s reproductive organs (both from the pilot).😬

This would’ve been really good, having read the book myself. I know Sir Patrick was reluctant to keep having to wear a uniform again but the overall story was good.👏

Cis people need to pay attention to the way they communicate this. They freely admit that after all of their research, they came up with zero evidence that HRT was harmful.
Then they banned it anyway, claiming their inability to find a reason is a reason in of itself.

I’m very much in agreement with Seán. I’m so sick of articles saying the franchise is over. It’s been going for literally 60 years, in one shape or another, largely because us Trekkies keep it going. Trek itself, Section 31 and Prodigy have won a lot of awards recently. So, it’s not over.🖖 #StarTrek

Fire fighters have been tackling the blaze for over 6 hours. If the fire takes central station (glass roof behind) it will be logistically and financially crippling for the city.
Jeez! It’s terrible and so sad to see yet more old buildings be lost.😢
There are no reported casualties so far thank god, but this is still catastrophic. The glass roof behind is the main Glasgow train station, there will be immeasurable disruption if the fire takes it.
The fire is not yet under control and is still spreading.

The fire at Glasgow central station is utterly devastating. Shops, homes and our transport link to England are being wiped out.
I am amazed by the limited news coverage.
