Would it help if we offered a "DIY finger module parts kit" with all the parts for the ring assembly + an extra ring and a few extra buttons, and ppl can re-mix how they want? I think we could do it for <16USD per hand.

What do you mean by "matrix the buttons"?

To support community customization, we are preparing for 2025 or early Q1-2026 to release the wrist module firmware under an open-source non-commercial license.

The wrist module I/O port does have 4 open GPIO for additional buttons/sensors which users could add and customize as they want DIY style. We are excited to see what the community comes up with!
