Bring receipts. I’ve seen nothing to corroborate your claim that he “knowingly and with great intention” got a Nazi tattoo. I think he was drunk as he claims and made an ignorant mistake.
Why are you so anti-union?

Being a Nazi generally requires a belief in Fascism.
I don’t agree with the facts as you state them and there is more than ample evidence that disputes what you claim to be true.
Help me understand what you hope to accomplish by dumbing the definition of what it takes to be a Nazi like this. For you, it apparently requires no belief in any sort of ideology whatsoever. So where does that lead us?
I’ll see your Tulsi Gabbard and raise you one AOC and one Mamdani.
Dumbing down the definition of Nazi only works against your ultimate aims.
Yeah, he’s not a Nazi.
Don’t see any controls in the armrest.
The most salient thing about Senator Mullin would seem to be his endorsement of the Big Lie about the 2020 election. That should certainly come up in hearings about running an organization that Trump allies (improperly) associate with elections.
Moreover, she’s proved herself to be anti-union. Has vetoed 4 pro-union/pro-worker bills.
What matters more for me is the substance of those bills and the extent to which they reflect progressive values. That requires more progressive votes. Mills has not even bothered to release a platform. You’re free of course to not trust Platner on his, but at least he’s on record.
Yes! Roman numerals only!
TBF, the goalposts have certainly moved the last 30 years on what constitutes shameful behavior that one must publicly acknowledge and pay consequences. Most scandals of today would have resulted in resignations during the 70s. In the 90s, for sex in the Oval Office, we shifted to the French model.
Someone challenged my statement that Mills is anti-union. Their post disappeared.
Fair points. Respect your opinion.
I’d encourage you to listen to his NYer interview with David Remnick if you haven’t already.
Let’s be honest, Alissa. Neither one of us is voting in the Maine senate race. I will be contributing to Platner however. How much research have you done on him outside of social media? Heard his Remnick interview? PSA interview? Just curious. What issues with him beyond his body art?
Fair enough. I admire her for that.
So why did she veto the Farmworker Protections Act twice (LD 588/LD 589) in ‘24 and ‘25? Why did she veto legislation to allow public sector bargaining (LD 1177) in 2019? Why in 2021 did she veto a bill that would have granted farmworkers the right to organize? You wanna play here? Bring receipts.
Yeah, that sounds like Reagan-esque photo op stuff. You want her to go out and pave roads too? Not the highest and best use of a governor’s time if you ask me. But I’m sure it was appreciated and, again, I’ve nothing against her work as gov, from what little I know of it.
Well, new blood is definitely a thing in electoral politics.
I think that’s great. In point of fact though, every attorney general in the country was so dedicated. All 50 states and DC sued the drug companies and got settlements. I have no doubt though that she’s a dedicated public official and surely has several Maine-specific accomplishments.
Are you also an asshole irl?
Guys like this dude can be important influencers to help make that happen. Tribalism dictates no one on the left can talk to them. That’s just a recipe for inaction and stagnation.
about what a disaster ICE is, immigration enforcement overreach and what a fuck up the Pretti murder was.
This is why I think it’s important to engage with the right. We want ICE abolished and/or reformed? Can’t do that without the other side.
Look again. You were also talking about it being bad for lefties to go on Fox.
I did the heavy lifting for you and listened to the 50+ minute interview this right wing dude did with him that everybody is screaming about. It’s overwhelmingly (like 40 minutes) devoted to them agreeing…
I don’t even live in Maine.
Yes.
