Nobody asked but here are my thoughts on age gap romance books:

•as long as they’re both adults when they meet and the younger half is at LEAST in their 20s, I’m a fan

•NOT a fan if they are related or family in any way including step and/or adopted family members

I genuinely believe that my children have some kind of super power that allows them to bed fast asleep but wake up the second I decide to get out of bed a little early and read.

It’s like clockwork every time.

I can’t even judge, I didn’t watch it all the way through for the first time until I was I think 19 or 20 because my parents thought it was a “dark and demonic” show

They’re honestly so delightful, well written, and the men (so far) are such simps that it fills me with joy.

I do have my state library, QLL (they’ve been coming in clutch with audiobooks lately), and might look into adding others

Same, I also make it a point to read books I own physical copies of through KU too, mostly so the author can milk as much money from the zon as possible

that has an abysmally small queer book collection (my local library has a total of 3 shelves in the entire 2 story building for queer books) and KU is SO GAY. It’s really been carrying my queer reading for a while now because my library just doesn’t buy books I suggest anymore.

I already have a kindle, that I got as a gift from my parents a few years ago and I will use it until it falls apart. I pay for my little kindle unlimited subscription with gift cards I get from my Ibotta rebates because BROKE.

I also live in a red state with a library system

As much as I hate Amazon and Jeff Bezos, realistically I don’t think I’ll ever be able to give up my kindle or kindle unlimited. There are so many reasons for this but honestly what it boils down to is: I’m broke and I’m queer.

People Have Had Non-Binary Genders for Thousands of Years It's nothing new.
