Also I really appreciated you hitting on the burden and burnout of practitioners who focus on accessibility. How they are hindered from having real impact because they’re not defining the outcomes and denied the authority to affect commitments. Really upsetting but insightful.
Very good read! My take away is the very important fact that it’s not how many tickets have been closed, it’s that if users can’t complete the tasks needed for them to get value from the experience just like everyone else, we’ve failed to achieve the correct outcome. 🙌
