American Cancer Society researchers find clinicians and the organizations they work for play a critical role in whether patients with advanced cancer receive palliative care.

Yeeessss, I was thinking about this just last week. Thank you! ππππ
This is a very good column looking at Bluesky and highlights some of why I think it can be much better than Twitter ever was (and also includes some thoughts from critics).
High praise from the OSS licensing guru ππ all the StartupFest talks today were excellent!! Thanks @kelseyhightower.com and @meganrey.bsky.social for co-chairing this day
Nice thank you! π

How fun is this?! #KubeCon
The biggest miss of the #threads team was not listening to Twitter power users. Fully not recognizing how critical that feedback was going to be for attracting and sustaining high user engagement, not just high user sign ups.
Solid work #bluesky in capturing what weβve been missing.
It sounds more fun that way soooo I think we should roll with it.
So I definitely prefer the (chronological, follower feed) experience of bluesky to threads. But I haven't yet found my crew of VC startup types who want to talk about wonky stuff like deal news and LP GP dynamics. Anyone??
Liz is the best. Follow her!
π¦ 𧡠π¦ itβs been a process, but Iβm here for it. π€
Tried to search for you earlier and couldnβt find you. Good to see you here!!
Direct porting but follower connections from threads and Twitter/X would be great too. Havenβt dug in yet but figure there might be some integrations that simplify this?
Anyone have fast/easy tips on connecting bluesky to threads? Trying to figure out if I publish a bit more on threads if it picks up/gets a bit more interesting. But looking to have bluesky be publishing base.
The feed and UX on bluesky is way better than threads so far. Love it!
Love seeing more activity here! Havenβt been super active but thinking about switching that up. π
Made a tip sheet on "How to Bluesky"
Highlights: Mute, Block, Requiring Alt Text, Moderation lists, Labels, Badges, Feeds, Starter Packs, etc.
Hopefully it makes the experience of getting started here a little bit easier. Feedback welcomed.
