🤣 I’ve had a remarkable day!! On my way home from bloodwork I saw an 🦅. First I was trying to figure out the clump at the top (car stopped/flashers on) of that tree 🤔. Last is wingspan behind a tree. QUICK pics from inside the car. Ice/sleet - bad time to be stopped at the side of the road 😬

That was me all day. Because my liver settled down, the oncologist has been adding meds back slowly to watch for reactions. I remember feeling very fatigued with one in particular, but I know I’ll eventually get used to it again and have more energy - quit taking the liver culprit 😁🫶

We still have power, but there will be branches down when the winds hit later 😒. Minor miracle - after reaching an interior temp of 61°, our refrigerator decided to start working again. Huh 🤔

Turns out it’s probably for the best. I found a couple of items in the freezer from 2021 🫣🤭🤣

Definitely safe and warm. But, after the power came back on the fridge/freezer just up and quit 🙄. We’ve relocated fridge foods to the garage (lucky mice 🤨) and freezer foods to the 60+ yr old basement freezer 🤣. Pics from the calm before the storm.

It’s not so bad. We have a wood stove so we can make coffee and heat some foods, and my husband has a shocking supply of backpacking/camping equipment (goes on trips with our friends several times a year - I don’t like camping 😬), so we’re actually pretty well set, but thank you ☺️

Weather update: nearing 50° today - yay for melting snow! Expecting fresh snow between 10-16” (latest warning) over Sunday/Monday 🤨
Oh well. Began the day with no power. Expecting periods of the same in the next couple of days. Falling trees and branches.

Went to two parks. Raining and windy, but the snow IS melting. Photos were… not great 🙁. I’ve become quite wimpy - too cold to stay long either place. At least one of those pictures is from the driveway when I got home 🤣

All is well for the time being and I’m exceedingly grateful ☺️. The testing I had yesterday was the first post treatment diagnostic mammogram - which was normal. Doesn’t mean cancer free, but they didn’t see anything alarming. Photo is from nearby bridge today - all that snow will melt this week 🤞

Yep. Still several inches of snow despite nearly hitting 50° today. There’s a nasty layer of ice on top that makes it miserable to walk around unless the area has been plowed or shoveled. Have some testing tomorrow. Spent the weekend trying to stay calm ☺️🫶

I was out about midday and caught melting snow drops that turned out to be a distorted selfie - my coat and phone - a distorted reflection! 🤣😂🫶
