That said, I've been in contact with everyone I owe work to and thank you all for your dear patience and understanding through all this. 💖 I am hoping to be at least on the road to improvement right now if it's not yet full recovery mode.
I am certainly trying. Mostly to exist, lol.

The worst part of all this is feeling like a mere shell of myself: the extreme fatigue, the activity restriction, the uncertainty. 🤕 I'm ready to be better and get my life back on track. Specialist visits happen so slow that this has been dragging out for some time. I don't have the energy for much.

Currently, I guess I'm out of immediate danger, but in a bit of a limbo as far as whether this was an answer to my neurovascular stuff. Feels like a big waiting game, but I'd hate to find out the hard way that this meant little if I have neuro-issues again. 😭 Not to mention the medical bills.

Was in the hospital in June for neurovascular things when they discovered a sizable congenital heart problem. Started the journey to get that taken care of, including a catheterization procedure... only to find mid-procedure that things may have changed between June and now?? It's all very strange.

My silence has been because of a whole health adventure. I'd been battling chronic illness already, but things got weird and it may have been a heart problem?? (it's an ongoing, very long saga.) But I thought I'd chime in for uh... proof of life. 😬

Looks like everyone has gotten a commission update post-FWA, phew! I figured with the chaos of my temporary sales system that things might get murky, my apologies. I'm legitimately still fighting with Shopify to fix this mess and I'm real annoyed.

I am inspired and re-ignited ❤️‍🔥 after FWA and I do want to work on various new things! Trying to make art and crafting regular again after I hit a slump with work and such. Thanks so much for following along and I hope to be posting more!

So now that I have funds to work with after 3 years away; I can finally explore new media: I have always wanted to offer more art along with my plushies, or stick to more OOAK type plush (ie, quality over quantity, which I've never been a fan of relying on quantity anyway!)

So, issues aside, there's some major changes I would like to make to what I offer in-person. I see all these wonderful vendors with their Makeship/Kickstarter funded plushies and I can't... do that. My whole thing is staying handmade, but there's no way I can keep a table full as a singular maker.

I am slowly catching up with everyone about any commissions! I hope to be working on stuff in the next couple of weeks, but admittedly being back to my day job might make it go a bit slower. I have everyone's contacts to keep them updated, however~ ✨

Saturday was great and pretty much everything found homes! 🥰 I only came home with these 6 lil Puffs and they will be going in my online store soon... once I finish fighting with Shopify. Store will be "down for maintenance" until they get it together, which is annoying.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by my table! I had a ridiculous false-start because of some issues with Shopify that I'm still disputing, so I was only open for 2 of 3 days.

It was great to see you! ... Honestly, I didn't expect to clean out so fast: I did not bring enough, haha. It's always been a bit of a feat to sew enough to -keep- the table full. :x

I think it's really easy to view conventions as big nebulous corporations, and then treat their staff as such when the cons do things you have issues with.

Con staffers are almost all volunteers who dedicate so much unpaid labor to making these things happen. Please treat them with some grace.
