This whole line of research was driven by @isabellavoelkl.bsky.social and is a deviation from my expertise. Without the help of @dammermannlab.bsky.social, we would have been lost on the way. So grateful for my amazing colleagues at the @maxperutzlabs.ac.at

Schreiner, Mikeladze-Dvali et al. @lifescimunich.bsky.social show that CDK-1 primes PCMD-1 for PLK-1 phosphorylation. Mutations in PLK-1 docking sites impair SPD-5 binding, destabilize the PCM, and delay #centriole separation. rupress.org/jcb/article/...
