Trump just upped the ante for people who didn't want him to win but have decided they can sit on the sidelines & ignore what's going on because it won't affect their lives. That's naive-inevitably it will & here's a concrete example in the making.

This post means so much in these terrifying times with another trump election to live through.

These are just the reasons I consider these cases interesting when discussing the next US administration, not an actual analysis or anything.

If you're in the US: Stay strong. Bolsonaro, Pinochet and Salazar are gone and Milei and Trump will be too. Keep fighting. The world has your back.

It would also be wonderful if we could agree on actual facts, not spin. I know.... pipe dream. I'm old enough to remember when each person was only mildly interested in the way anyone voted. Respect was expected.

I like that.
Instead of this platform becoming a leftwing echo chamber we can build it into a place where level-headed Americans can come together, and organize to keep the dream of democracy alive for the next 4 years.
