I remember learning about the Hays Code in film school and how it made it so that any amoral protagonist had to meet karmic justice by the end of the film and going “wow, that’s really silly” and then once a week I log online and see people argue that we need stuff like that now or it’s problematic

It’s a bunch of anti social 20 something’s who stole or fell backward into a business model, largely reliant on the novelty of doing xyz familiar activity but on the computer, and then retroactively wrote utopian mission statements so they could treat employees like slaves and customers like animals

My only note is that every season didn’t get a run through the way season 7 did, because everyone who went on the Last Drive In did it for love and all deserved a chance to get theirs.
