My memory says it's a really interesting and tense movie right until they shut down the red queen, and then it becomes an avg zombie flick.
The only negative thing I could say about this game is that it really needed a save function.
Took a friend of mine 12 hours to complete over 2 sessions.
While you can get through them quick once you have a solution, it's annoying to redo them every session.
This one just has Toree vibes to me. Can't go wrong with Toree-likes

There were so many back rooms and pool rooms games being made in unreal 5, so to just have 1 with a PSX coat of paint was 💪

And worse, even if you are 100% certain, and they didn't self ID, there's not really anything you can do about it.
It is mostly gut feelings and decisions made by people, and since Valve desires to fully automate their ecosystem...
Glad enough folk have disavowed genAI that they're discovering it's marketing poison to use it.
But with out that self ID, it means we need to be more vigilant about the art we consume, which is exhausting, and can lead to witch hunts for games that are human made.
SNF continues to grow. 1300, 1500, now almost 2k!
Unfortunate this one felt like the biggest slog to get through. Mountains of genAI slop.
Feel more confident to say many are not self identifying now, which is bitter sweet.

I felt vindicated when they released an update easing the combat. Felt it dragged the EXP down so hard at launch. Though I suppose you can't patch out what is a fundamentally poor system.
Shame too cause I really enjoyed the non literal way the story is told.

I've been seeing a lot of store capsules this Next Fest that look like they contain genAI, yet the store page has no disclosure.
I'm hoping it's because slop vendors realized it's marketing poison and are trying to be sneaky.
But the uncertainty is awful.

Like clock work. February hits and my brain shuts down to maintenance mode. No ability to create art, only experience it.
So I've been enjoying Morrowind for the first time.
Last few times I've tried to play, I bounced off real quick, but this time it's the right friction to stick. I get it.
I wonder if the game would have been more pallettable to replay if the levels had been more segmented like RE5.
Leon Chapter 1 for example, you start at the campus, then you're in a subway, then you're in the city. It feels like 3 levels stapled together.
REV 2 is one of my favorites.
I love how each character plays different so you end up having Action partner and Support partner.
While my first EXP was doing co-op with my partner, I've returned to the campaign of this one several times on my own and it still holds
Raid Mode is also a lot of fun.

I hate that I have to do this, I really do try to keep my personal problems to myself
but my cat has cancer, and the costs to just even figure that out have bled me dry money wise. I have to ask for help, not for me but for him.
