CW: blood, implied abuse, grief A set of images in the style of a vertical comic strip, showing Vox (and by proxy, Adrian) at different stages of his life. The images are dark and some details are intentionally incorrect, such as the scars missing from Adrian's arm during a specific period of their relationship. The first image shows Vox when he was younger, in his academic years before he was captured. He looks calm, mostly monotonous, but hopeful. The second image shows Vox following his escape from captivity alongside Adrian, who stands behind him. The pose and atmosphere imply that Adrian became no better than the people they escaped from, as Adrian looms behind him in a controlling way. Vox is wiping blood from his face with the back of his hand and Adrian's forearms are covered in blood. The third image shows Vox and Adrian about a decade later, enjoying what appears to be, in contrast to the previous image, a moment of genuine, gentle intimacy. It's unclear if this is a true memory or a fabricated one, as Adrian's scars are missing. The fourth and final image shows Vox following Adrian's death. He has longer hair and has aged a bit, and he looks down with an expression of sadness.
