As a Devil fan it pains me, but Fantilli was about as cant miss as you can get. Carlsson is excellent but not nearly at Fantilli's level right now. Not saying he cant eventually get there. It was a bold move for the sake of a bold move by Verbeek

I'm telling you, Verbeek is going to lose his job within 2 years because of that pick and their FA moves this offseason. There is being bold and then there is being too smart for the room. I think thats what Verbeek did here. No disrespect to Carlson.
