Same here. I think the most my wife has had to wait was a week but that has come down recently. Results with GP in two/three days.
Not here in W Sussex. We used simply to turn up, take a numbered ticket and wait in line. We were concerned when it changed to an online booking service but it is still sometimes possible to get a same-day booking.
