Like, even in his wildest dreams he didnt expect to have his back blown (lovingly) by a guy like that, to be tender, to allow himself to be vulnerable and open around someone.
I suppose this man gave up on love and affection long time ago and - BAM - "suddenly" in his late30/early40s he has a loving bf he can experience romance with - something uncommon for gay men, especially the middle-aged ones (pun intended).
It's kinda class division broken by love and lust - that's something I love about them both in the games and in fandom.
I mean, the concept just keeps living rent-free in my head how mind-blowing on many lvls the experience was for Erik due to the role reversal - his lord is serving him, not the other way around. He's the one in position of power, while Istvan is on his knees before him.
