It’s troubling when policymakers from elite institutions, insulated from crisis, dismiss "emotional" interjections. For those who’ve endured hardship, emotion reflects lived experience and life-or-death realities.

Canadian process: send us a 7 page document by mail, by both you and the school, then also get the school to call us and confirm again over the phone, then wait 12 weeks

The Taliban’s ban on women reading in public and praying aloud with each other may seem peculiar, but it’s calculatedβ€”an attempt to suppress the inevitable nationwide fight for emancipation led by Afghan women and girls.

It cannot be stopped. It is only a matter of time.
