I don't understand... what's sleep??
I've just chipped in a few quid. If you can afford to, please do so too. Ether way, please re-post.
Picture of 3d printer print head, a test print benchy model and a banana.
My experiments with direct drive extruders continue... This is the print head with a mirrored Sherpa Micro. I'm using eSun PLA+ for prototypes and is working well. Real banana for scale π

Yes I've always paid mine off every month but not by direct debit. Can't think of any logical reason for the 3 days unless they are sulking because they didn't earn interest π€
I must have at least 10 2.5mm Allen keys (fits m3 cap head screws) but can I find them !!!
Image showing Order is on it's way
My @pimoroni.com Pre-Order placed at the beginning of December is on it's way... Time to get excited :)
My first car was an old Morris Oxford REG 14KTA cost me Β£25 in 1971... you never forget your first.
Sunrise overlooking the Solent
Good morning Southampton, a vew looking over The Solent.
Wonderful Wonderful Copenhagen...
Well it had to be done...
Cheers.
Very very nice
Just gave a copy to each of my four grandchildren. Keep them quiet for a couple of minutes a day.
Well that's my winter fuel allowance spent, better put my big coat on π€£

My laptop PSU died, searched stash
(you know that big box of power supplies that you keep in case you might need one day)
Found one that produces the required 19V 45W but wrong connector, spliced cable from faulty PSU and we are back in business.
Well apparently they are available in the UK so I'll look out for them and give them a try.
Never had pumpkin pie

Thinking of Nano McPico... ( Nanny McPhee )
When you need it but do not want it, then you must buy.
When you want it but no longer need it, then you must also buy.
Oh eck!!
There must be something special about cat food. I once had an amazon subscription for a particular Japanese sencha green tea but then they stopped providing it. They offered me cat food as an alternative.
Picture of lcd displaying status information from 3D printer.
Well I got so far and now I've lost interest. I was intending designing fancy icon and adding more content, maybe I'll pick it up again in the near future.
Hope you have your big coat, it's a bit chilly up here π
OH POOP!!!
All was going well then clumsy me managed to rip the USB socket off my @pimoroni.com Pico Plus 2W π
Ordered replacement which I probably won't get now till Tuesday. I'll have to find something else to do till then.
Definitely not a happy bunny.
Well it's been a lot easier than expected thanks to Circuitpython having excellent docs and lots of examples. New I have switched to Micropython so I can make use of the dual cores. One task to get the status data and one to take the data and make it look good on the display...
Just for fun π
Just learning some more CircuitPython, handling json data. My 3D printer sends a lot of status info as a json string to my MQTT broker. Using a @pimoroni.com Pico plus 2W + Pico display 2.0 I am hoping to display status in pretty colours.
#CircuitPython #JSON #MQTT long way to go though
Just singing a modified "Feeling Groovy"
Slow down, you move too fast
You got to make the morning last
Just kicking down the fallen leaves
Looking for fun and feeling groovy
Ba da-da da-da da-da, feeling groovy
Adafruit Macropad 2040 running klipper connected to 3D printer
Just for fun I installed the klipper software on my @adafruit.com Macropad RP2040 and connected it to the raspberry pi running klipper on my 3D printer. A bit of tinkering with the config file and it works!! Display, encoder, neopixels, buttons.
I have been known to wear odd socks, if anyone comments I say I have another pair just the same.
