Theories and "expectations" have had a nasty impact on culture.

They just set people up to get mad when the story the artist tells doesn't line up with whatever people imagined based off "patterns" that don't really mean anything.

Wait for the end, enjoy the ride, and let a story be what it is.

Fandom spaces are for people to have fun and find like minded people, not rip apart the creator

People need to stop feeling so entitled to a creators work.

If you're obsessing over something so much so that when the creator says something you don't about it like you get hostile, you need to get a fucking life

Creators are people too and deserve just as much grace as everybody else

I see people use it as a way to circumvent their own shitty behavior and bullying, and I’m sorry. That’s just fucked up and hypocritical. Just treat humans like humans.

Last thing I’ll say before going to bed. A creator being cringe, or ‘unprofessional’, or annoying is not somehow justification to treat them badly. You are allowed to be critical of someone’s behavior, we all are. But I see it used to excuse such genuine cruelty. It’s not a crime to be openly human.
