NEW: Just 3% of new homes granted planning approval in London last year are suitable for older or disabled people to live in
Less than 1% of newly approved homes are designed so wheelchair users can live in them

Last year Steph was finally rehoused in a permanent, accessible newbuild council flat - which then proved to be riddled with faults, including the only lift regularly breaking down. She's now had to be moved into a hotel.
