To be honest, definitely painful. Probably a 7.5-8/10. Mostly because mine are sensitive.

When they pierce it, it’s pretty slow so they get the angle correctly, and then they thread the jewelry back as the needle comes out. So you definitely feel like you’re getting pierced twice per side 😅

I’ve been using the trevor lifeline since 2013 when I was first coming to terms as a teen with my identity.

They are a great resource for anyone of any age. Please utilize them!!

And if you don’t feel comfortable with the councilor on the phone, just call again! Sometimes I call a few times.
