Bazzite came highly recommended around the time I was swapping, and it's what I'm using, but now it's CachyOS that everyone is recommending.

It's exposing one of the biggest issues with the 'year of the Linux desktop,' distro selection.

I made the same mistake he did my first time around last year before I settled on a gaming centric distro, trusting the search results you get from Google.

It's really cathartic watching all of the cope coming from Linus's latest Linux gaming video.

So many posters literally did not watch the video, he was very clear about his methodology for choosing the distro he did: He's trying to have the normie experience.
