Itβs good to see that people are interested in hearing about RS at the moment. Thanks to NATRE exec member @chrisnatre.bsky.social who spoke to BBC radio Gloucestershire this morning
From 1:08:40 www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...
It was a pleasure to talk to BBC Radio Sheffield about the need for a national plan for RE to address recruitment and rentention concerns.
I am on at 7:45 am for about 10 minutes.

Actually meeting people for real will be fantastic! I went to strictly in 2019 when it was last f2f but didn't really know many people!
This is great news! Really excited for it to be face to face again! Can't wait to find out what's on offer
Strictly RE 2025 will be face to face! What are your highlights from previous conferences? What have you missed about face to face?

If your local church has an open the book team, they're lovely. Also look to different denominations for worship visitors- we gave methodist minister, new life childrens minister and our vicar who all come regularly. We've also had our local Imam and the humanist society.
I love that you can pin it at the top. So much potential and so much easier!
The former Bishop's palace in Carmarthenshire is the place the New Testament + the Book of Common Prayer were first translated into Welsh in the 1500s. Since hubby wouldn't take me to the museum of religious life last year, I only dropped this knowledge in as we arrived #TeamRE #surreptitiousREvisit
One more for the #TeamRE summer church crawl. The very simple but lovely chapel in the former Bishop's palace in Carmarthen. It is now the carmarthenshire museum
Bit heavy in the summer!

He's William Harvard a former bishop of St David's and St Asaph's. He was very active in promoting RE in schools. This painting is hanging in the chapel of the former Bishops palace which is now Carmarthenshire Museum.
NATRE call for a national plan to help A level Religious Studies thrive again #TeamRE
This table shows the differences in uptake of A level RS between counties.
What is provision like where you teach - and do you have any ideas about why these differences exist?
Thanks to @deborahweston.bsky.social for her work on this
One for #TeamReUk.
So many of us will be using βNobody Stands Nowhereβ at the start of the year. I think I could make better use of it. Can you share exactly what you do with it and what comes next?
youtu.be/AFRxKF-Jdos?...
I made it!
Well, I made it over here. Now to figure out what's going on! #TeamREuk
