I did something naughty last night.
I previously told myself that my album was completely done.
Then…today…I turned the drums up a little bit on three songs.
Oops.
Now I’m done. ✅
Setting up the album on BandCamp. Working on getting lyrics in there accurately for each song.

Well, I put away my mics, including the nice vocal condensor, back into their cushiony carrying cases.
Only tiny, and very picky, tweaks left in mixes…if I can find any.
The album completion is SO close.
I love it when a fresh mix suddenly hits just right.
I completed vocals on the final song last night! The full-length album only needs finishing touches on mixing, etc.
Recorded some vocal takes on my final album song last night. Going to work on it again tonight!
I ripped skin while sliding down the frets tonight. I played through it and completed guitars for not only the song, but for the final song of the whole album!
Only guitars, bass and vocals left to record on the final song of my full-length album!

When I focus on singles, my thought process is different.
For singles, I focus on melody and interest of others way more.
This album is focused on everything I want to do, and listeners can find what they like.
Creativity exploded!
Working on vocals. I’m going to redo the grunge vocal track tonight. I was ever so slightly off rhythm in a few spots on the first try. Oops!
Then, I will work on tracking guitars for my last album song!

One more song needs vocals, then I have one last song that will enter the studio from scratch. Then the album is complete.
I’m currently recording vocals for a song I have released before. For some reason, I wrote new lyrics for that version.
I’m returning to the original lyrics as written, which hold the anxiety, angst and hope that it should have. Making things right for this much heavier version.
I’ve always known that my music doesn’t follow the beaten path. I purposefully am doing it how I want to. Not to fit in. This is essentially a ME Unleashed project!
My son has decided that he wants to learn how to play guitar!
