She has the perfect most boop-able nose! I also love that she's the perfect yin/yang balance of black and white.
Is she a Daoist?

SCOOP β Body camera footage obtained as a result of my lawsuit against the DC Metropolitan PD confirms DOGE and the Trump administration openly admitted they were entering private property when they raided the building on March 17, 2025. That didn't stop MPD from breaking down the doors.
My report:
this isn't just a MAGA thing, it's a cross-American one and *especially* a lot of people who came of age in politics or punditry in the 1990s. the idea that the news could happen to them - that the world might not be all going their way - is genuinely brain-breaking to a lot of them
"840 million women and adolescent girls worldwide have experienced physical violence, sexual violence, or both by an intimate partner or sexual violence by a non-partner at least once in their lifetime a number that has barely changed in the past two decades"

I don't know. I know of someone that had to explain to a a 25 year old that Game of Thrones wasn't a historical tv show. They watched the whole show too.

I just subscribed to the channel so I can watch them every day. Thank you so so much for this.
The reason we have βstupid rules of engagementβ is to make sure we donβt bomb elementary schools.
AITA for not knowing what a fire hydrant is? This might be the wildest Reddit post I've read in awhile.

ICE has arrested and detained a Nashville journalist who reported stories critical of ICE. Sheβs married to a U.S. citizen and has been seeking asylum here after fleeing death threats in Colombia because of her journalism there.
Theyβve already sent her to Louisiana.
So remember when I said that palantir's "neurodivergent fellowship" was bullshit (www.motherjones.com/politics/202...)? Yeah it was bullshit.

If you're seeing the Trump quote from the TIME story, here's the OG story:
Hell yeah!! Please boycott the U.S.
Help those of us stuck here and fighting back by denying monetary support.

what a terrible time to not have foreign bureaus b/c the billionaire owner of a news org decided to shutter them
There's a pathological level of desire to convince us that people want a "return to normal" when the fact that "normal" was pretty awful for most folks is exactly why Trump is president. Dems seem to believe that if they excise any remnant of passion, principle, or personality they'll win.
By BEN LEFEBVRE 03/05/2026 05:00 AM EST f β’ β’ β’ President Donald Trump's chief of staff, Susie Wiles, is telling his advisers to bring ideas to the Oval Office to lower gasoline prices in the wake of the U.S. attack on Iran, according to two energy industry executives familiar with the conversations. The White House is "looking under every rock for ideas on improving energy prices, especially gasoline prices," said one of the executives, who was granted anonymity to describe internal administration discussions.
I have an idea. Hereβs my idea: We should have had this meeting last week before we started bombing Iran. www.politico.com/news/2026/03...

We are the people who grew up on the internet. If anyone knows about harms it caused, it's us. Not parents, not congress, us.

The grisly discoveries of three bodies in south central Utah have spurred a multi-county manhunt, prompting schools to shut down and businesses to shutter while an unknown killer is on the loose.
They're going to release banned peptides, but I cannot get sunscreen made with modern UV filters. American sunscreen hasn't been updated in 25 years.
I can't even import sunscreen from like Korea or Japan. I hate it.
I have watched many videos now of Ukrainian volunteers who have stapled together three soviet-era AK-47s and mounted them on basically a golf cart shooting down Geran-style drones.
If the US can't figure out how to efficiently intercept a drone I can make in my basement, that's a skill issue.
We all have a role to play in building those new worlds. Determine what the next right step is for you. There is always something that is worth doing. Find your lane and push ahead. Make connections with others. Refuse to acquiesce to despair. Imagine your way forward. There are many ways that things can be different in the world, and we don't know how things will turn out, so we might as well fight like hell for the world we want to inhabit. History teaches us that relatively small groups of people have been responsible for some of the most consequential societal chang-es. It's usually the minority of the minority that engages in struggle in any historical moment. This is reassuring because it means that we don't have to convince everyone in order to attain critical goals. It leaves room for surprise.
This week I am going to continue to try to resist acquiescing to despair.

"New research from the university suggests that women who carried the bulk of the housework load at age 25 still bear the same heavy burdens decades later as they move into middle age β and that "women's domestic workload only increased during the child-rearing years."
It's so painful.

Man in glasses: Mercantilism. Woman with long blonde hair: Well, did it work for those people? Man in glasses: No, it never does. I mean these people somehow delude themselvees into thinking it might but but it might work for us.
Oh wow. This is so accurate...
They are torturing and killing people in our concentration camps, and I wish more people were actively bothered by that
No!! Omg. I have never seen this before. Thank you for sharing it.
