π I just signed an Executive Order to cut red tape and speed up permitting for housing, energy, broadband, water, and other critical infrastructure across Delaware.
May the memories of those who have passed always be a blessing.
Lauren and I also pray for the safety of every American soldier abroad, for those who have been injured, and for the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We hope for freedom and pray for peace.
We will continue to pray for the safety of all civilians, regardless of nationality, and mourn the innocent lives lost, particularly children.
I am closely monitoring the evolving conflict in the Middle East, coordinating across state agencies and with federal partners to keep Delawareans safe.
This past year was a period of monumental growth for Delaware, with a sharp increase in corporate incorporations in 2025, both in absolute terms and relative to other states.
In short, SB-21 is working, and Iβm glad it will continue to be the law.
The Delaware franchise remains strong because of our state's commitment to providing clear and predictable corporate governance rules and our ability to sustain a business-friendly environment.
Delaware is the gold standard locale for global companies to do business, as it has been for more than 100 years, and todayβs Supreme Court decision further affirms that fact.
I was proud to sign our latest executive order, creating the Delaware Permitting Accelerator to remove unnecessary delays and bring more predictability to how priority projects move forward.

In Delaware, just like in Virginia, we're focused on delivering for every resident, regardless of party. And we're going to keep it that way.
I stand with Governor Spanberger, who gave the second speech and not the president, who gave the first.
The president is leaving it to governors to unite America: to make life more affordable, to make our schools stronger, and to deliver the health care that Americans deserve.
Last night, we heard two speeches. One unburdened by facts or conscience. The other an honest account about the challenges Americans are facing, and the need to make life more affordable.
To our plow crews, utility workers, first responders, healthcare teams, and essential staff keeping power on and emergency rooms open, we are deeply grateful. Delaware is stronger because of you.
Following severe winds and a significant snowstorm, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the frontline workers who worked through the night to keep Delawareans safe.

I am the governor of Delaware, but I am a public school parent first. And we should all expect our government β at every level β to work for us and our kids.
Dedicated public servants have worked hard to salt roads and sidewalks, and we continue to thank them for their service. But that's also meant a week of lost instruction time for students.
To every parent and family: please know the State of Delaware is doing everything possible through the weekend to ensure schools are open on Monday morning. Delaware was coated in more snow and ice than at any time in the last decade.
I've also personally spoken with each New Castle County superintendent and received lists of roads, sidewalks and bus stops that remain unsafe. DelDOT is clearing them this weekend.
