Dr. Peninah Murage from @lshtm.bsky.social follows up with an impressive look at their meta anlysis of tree-based health interventions showing lots of positive effects on health and that loss on income in timber production was offset by non-timber forest products.

Super excited to be at the Biodiversity and Health symposium at University of Copenhagen. Starting out with sage words from @carstenrahbek.bsky.social: >30% of new human diseases are driven by our consumption and land use. Our health is tied directly to the health of the Earth's ecosystems!
There's something almost comforting about the fact that *even* an early edition of 'On the Origin of Species' gifted by Charles himself, still gets clear, bold, utalitarian, and slightly wonky library stamp!
