He replayed the video, wondering what kind of an agreement it really was; a taunt or a solid red line? He rolled up his sleeves, grabbed his thickest brown belt, and pulled up a chair to wait by the front door and find out. He scratched his cage wondering what kind of man was about to take control.
“Texted my son that I’d gotten off work early - that I was on my way home.Told him I knew he hadn’t done any of the chores I’d left for him this morning, that he was out of options and to just be ready for the belt when I walked in the door. He wasn’t going to be sitting down anytime soon.”
