i don’t think those ratings actually affect a show in terms of renewals bc what matters to them is viewership. the amount of people watching is how they pitch the show to the network and for advertising space so the imdb ratings aren’t really that important in the grand scheme of things
and he’s also been so careful all week in regards to the buddie questions so i don’t really know why they think he’s at fault here
why do people think him talking about his characters actions is queerbaiting when he literally plays a bi character… he even said the actions weren’t done intentionally but that it just came off super gay… why are people directing their anger at him… genuinely don’t get it omg

agreed!! i think now that this season is behind us and we’re entering a new era they can actually get to the buddie of it all so it feels exciting! like there’s so much to explore for where buck and eddie currently are and i have more hope than ever for buddie canon
that look was definitely something!! i think buck is so clueless though that he doesn’t even realize that he’s been looking at eddie like That and he won’t realize it until eddie isn’t his “straight” best friend like truly don’t think he’ll have his realization until he’s told eddie is an option
also based on his and eddie’s past relationships the choice to live together has to be more intentional bc it’s going to be an oh you were The One all along bc this feels like the right choice moment & neither of them are there yet in terms of their feelings so him moving out rn makes sense (to me)
like this is buck so unless eddie told him hey you should stay he wouldn’t stay and would actually feel like he Needs to leave because he was only there until eddie came home (which now he has)
i know a lot of people are upset over buck moving out and over the “it wasn’t really mine” line but it actually made a lot of sense to me
completely agree with this!!! we have a completely blank slate now to dive into new storylines and give the characters more growth and it feels exciting to me at least
can definitely agree that some episodes were way better than others so i understand it being hit or miss! i agree though the high expectations set for buddie when there hasn’t been enough to have a feelings realization is what’s causing some of the disappointment for tonight
as someone who’s been watching 8b while also being pretty much completely off social media i’ve actually really enjoyed it and i’m not at all mad at the finale
