People talk a lot about TDD and BDD, but really, testing starts much earlier, right in the programming language itself, with things like static types and null safety, and then the compiler steps in to catch errors before they ever become runtime problems. Don't say now you don't need to test 😉

Yes and all the IDE's improve by the time, learning from their competitors and delivering better products for us developers.

Currently I also use a MacBook Pro with Intel Core i7 2.3 GHz. But I agree that Zed is lightning speed, and I plan next year for the next generation of MacBook too.

Always follow the way (IDE) you're the most productive. Everybody has an individual way of work and should choose the IDE for their purpose. And I am already since 2012 on IntelliJ, and familiar with Jetbrains IDE's and reuse a lot of memory muscles and habits. And I follow the progress of Zed too ☺️
