Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and it’s good she’s gone.

But this doesn’t change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota.

My god: The patient came in with a belly full of blood, Dr. Leilah Zahedi-Spung recalled. Her pregnancy was ectopic—no longer viable—and could have killed her if left untreated. But when she went to a mobile pregnancy help center offering free care in an RV she was told the pregnancy could be saved.

BREAKING: SCOTUS shadow docket decision rules in favor of forced outing of trans students, reinstating a lower court ruling against California's law prohibiting forced outing. Also references forcing teachers to misgender trans students. Horrific precedent.

A Law School Dean Signed a Brief Defending Trans Rights. She Lost Her Job Because of It The revocation of Emily Suski’s job offer at the University of Arkansas sends a chilling message to law professors everywhere.

I wrote on the shameful situation re: the recession of a deanship to Emily Suski at the University of Arkansas Law. What was the reason? Prof. Suski signed an amicus brief supporting trans rights. The Arkansas legislators admitted that was it! Horrible outcome. ballsandstrikes.org/legal-cultur...

“There is a reason why the administration has cracked down on the arts and humanities alongside its brutal assault on migrants. It knows that art is dangerous, that knowledge leads to asking questions, and that those questions don't always lead where they want you to go.”

Minnesota school districts say federal agents still causing daily disruptions School leaders say that ICE activity is continuing to interrupt daily life for students, staff and families despite the announced end of the two-month surge of federal immigration agents.

ICE activity continues to interrupt daily life for students, staff and families, despite the announced end of the two-month surge of federal immigration agents. Students attend school remotely, staff monitor arrival and dismissal, and leaders wonder when they can resume normal school operations.

Fears of polio resurgence as US vaccine adviser questions need for childhood shots Survivors say US healthcare system not ready for new cases – ‘the only thing to fix polio is the polio vaccine’

Every time I write about measles, experts warn that polio is next.

But it's been so long since we had polio outbreaks, there are very few doctors who even know how to treat its long-term health issues. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

So many great quotations from J. Goodwin.
Check out link below with much of his opinion!

“When the public cannot readily determine who is acting under government authority, it is difficult to regard the actions as legitimate exercises of law enforcement power."

Federal judge: Masked ICE agents violate Fourth Amendment CHARLESTON – A federal judge has ruled Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s practice of conducting arrests with masked, unidentifiable agents violates the Fourth Amendment’s prohibition on…

“A regime of secret policing has no place in our society. Here, the govt’s power is derived by the people, and the people must be able to identify the govt when it acts to infringe on their liberty. Masks obscure government action and deprive the public of its Fourth Amendment protections.”

i've decided not to listen to the audio of a teacher reporting a kindergartender because frankly I don't want to become the person that that event would turn me into. but one thing I hope we are collectively coming to grips with is what it meant that we have lived among such people this whole time

Former top general calls military's removal of trans troops a costly mistake As several global tensions simmer, the Pentagon is removing thousands of transgender troops under an anti-DEI push. How might a focus on gender identity distract from mission readiness?

The President does not have authority under IEEPA to impose tariffs

Major questions doctrine:
The power to tax lies with Congress
If Congress delegates its power to impose tariffs, it must be absolutely clear, and IEEPA is not

When Congress delegates its tariff power, it has done so in explicit terms and subject to strict limits.
To argue that IEEPA vague language does so would represent
a transformative expansion of the President’s authority over tariff policy.

I am one of the most published academics on the childhood social transition, with 5 peer reviewed articles that relate to the topic.

There is so much evidence of benefit of social transition.

There is no evidence of harm. Not one jot.

This will literally kill trans kids. No exaggeration.

On this day in 1920, Idaho ratified the 19th Amendment, which prohibited sex-based disenfranchisement. Women in Idaho had voted since 1896, and two women were serving in the Idaho Legislature in 1920. Rep. Emma F. Angell Drake introduced the resolution in the Idaho House to ratify the 19A. #WeTheMen

The FDA Quietly Slapped More Restrictions on the Birth Control Implant The agency recently approved Nexplanon for up to five years of use—but it also imposed extra regulations that leave some providers worried.

Out of over 20,000 FDA-approved drugs, only 73 have active REMS—additional requirements that can make medication harder to get.

So it raised flags when the FDA put a REMS on Nexplanon, a birth control device available since 2011.

ICE Has Taken More Kids Than Liam Ramos From Minnesota Schools Liam Ramos, 5, isn’t the only child in detention. Teachers and parents describe kids being hunted by federal agents.

Really crazy to hear Lyons keep saying ICE agents in MN are simply carrying out targeted, intelligence-driven enforcement operations.

ICE is literally circling elementary schools in this Minneapolis suburb every day, looking for brown and Black children to nab. www.huffpost.com/entry/ice-mi...

ICE List: the small European website exposing US immigration agents Netherlands-based site uses public information and tips to reveal identities of agents involved in crackdowns across US

ICE List:

“There were no attacks on members of the KKK, it was a boycott of them in public life,” he said. “And then slowly the KKK disappeared from Chicago. That’s kind of what we’re trying to do here, to just allow the public to know which of their neighbours are involved in this.”
