Less resentment. More peace.
You don’t need to explain your boundaries to people who benefit from you having none.
This week, notice where you’re over-giving, and practice saying no without guilt.

I didn't say you did, I made a recommendation for yourself and others on this very public website. I hope things are going well for you today and that positivity comes your way
I get tired of saying it, but I’ll say it again: the nature of oppression in America is that they workshop it first on Black, Latino, Asian & Native people.
But it is always, in the end, coming for everyone.
Complain to your local school districts! Not the teachers because most of them agree, but they're forced to follow increasingly strict curricula of teaching to the test. I know so many teachers who've had to explain to parents that the admin/school board won't give them flexibility.
This is such an important point. We're millennials and grew up in very white areas, but I would even say Black suburban kids in the 1980s and 1990s didn't live through the same decades. Similar? Possibly, but life could be VERY different.
Before judging #non-monogamy, #kink, or alternative relationship structures, ask yourself:
Did I actually choose monogamy?
Or was I disciplined into it?
Who taught me I even had the choice to be different?
If a system needs shame, fear, financial dependence, and social punishment to survive then it is the opposite of freedom.
If a system is maintained by not talking about anything outside of it, even to the detriment of people in it then it is about compliance.
But you deserve to have choices.
"Failing" monogamy publicly was shameful, but pretending you were successful was mandatory. Pretending there were no other choices was essential.
When you look at the plans of Project 2025, 2026, & see Christian Nationlist platforms know their goal is to abolish autonomy & freedom
Colonization didn't just affect land and money.
It policed bodies and regulated intimacy.
It punished anything that didn’t fit its economic or religious "duty".
What stood out to me is in their recent #political plans they specifically mention polyamory and cohabitation. So if mom and Dad live together and are divorced...they won't be legally seen as a family. They believe education of women has hurt families by giving them choices. Choice is the enemy.
A lot of what we call “healthy relationships” are just colonial control systems with better PR.
The paradigm isn't about consent. The paradign is about control. When we look at The Heritage Foundation, they want to re-define family for *EVERYONE*. No adoption. No step-kids. No divorce. No LGBTQ+.
The only people benefiting are the ones who don't want you to have choices. They don't even want you to choose monogamy. They want you to be shamed into it.
The Heritage Foundation, religious institutions, conservative ideologues, & even some liberal ones. They believe in limitation for stability.
Why do we romanticize jealousy and why is it a problem to not feel overwhelmingly angry at jealousy?
There's nothing wrong with having those feelings, but who is benefiting? Who is being hurt by this and how does this normalize toxic #relationship behaviors?
Monogamy wasn’t sold to you as a real choice.
It was sold to you as a necessity of morality.
The choice was be good or be bad and make excuses for it.
How does that help anyone? #polyamory #dating #blacksky
Your lived truth may look different from mine, and all of it is welcome because all of it needs space. This doesn't mean we have to accept anything and every behavior towards us. It means we have to have respect and boundaries
Investigating elected officials for speech is not law enforcement but intimidation. If governors and mayors can be investigated for criticizing federal actions, neither elected officials nor anyone else is truly free to speak. #holdfast
Word of mouth is the way. It’s the only thing that will make any real difference for a title. That’s why I get so excited when I share a book and you guys buy it. I know how much of a game changer it can be. Have you heard about this book called Pink Zombie Rose: Major Arcana Vol I?
A wide-ranging UC San Francisco study found that sky-high rents are forcing people into homeless.
Middle- and working-class tenants need urgent help.
They need rent control.
Tillis is spot on. The Senate can't confirm a Trump toady to succeed Powell at the Fed. The rest of the game is now out in the open, and it doesn't end well.
Iowans have the second highest rate of cancer linked to agricultural chemicals because of the "leadership" they have continually put back into office.
Imagine choosing cancer instead of voting for your own health and wellbeing.
Polyamory is safe for work. Polyamory is safe for kids..polyamory is safe for day time tv..polyamory isn't more sexual than any other relationship and it can be just as romantic, sweet, and healthy
Facts.
If anyone could accomplish this it would be a gay trouble talking about interior design. Nothing against the guys but man this
Almost feels cliche in a beautiful way
Man workplace drama got a lot more interesting
I genuinely think part of it is knowing what you want and what you won't tolerate anymore
In 2025, the Trump administration ended several consent decrees and many more investigations into police departments with histories of misconduct and violence.
This is part of Trump's "unleashing" of police.
The obsession with debates, rather than careful analysis and argument, is very much a part of #TheStupidestTimeline.
These are individuals who if every single show never had a person of color in the writer's room they would say it was just about competence and then wonder why people assume they think everyone else is incompetent
There's a piece of this that people do not acknowledge: these ppl deeply believe white people are global and non-white people are meant to be contained. They belief that wealthy able bodied white people should be able to move & travel freely.
They don't comprehend *anyone* else doing so
Honestly this is good for the psychology field. We are not furries but there's a lot of discussion amongst therapists and psychologists on how to treat without pathologizing.
