Iβve dialed back the mileage a bit. I like to do more strength workouts and less running in the winter. #runchat

Brooks Ghost is definitely hard to beat
Brooks ghost are my go to shoes right now. I also have a new pair of Nike Pegasus but Iβm trying to save them until spring so they donβt get all mucked up from winter running. #runchat
Iβm gonna say cold winter. I actually donβt mind the cold, but so much more laundry π€£ #runchat
Probably a new pair of shoes.
A1) I guess an A. I definitely met my expectations for January anyway π€·π»ββοΈ

A2) light goals during the harshest part of winter where I live. Only want to run 2x per week and only around 10-12 miles a week #runchat
Iβm going back βhomeβ to Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving and going to get to run the Run For The Diamonds on Thanksgiving morning. Itβs a 9 mile race and one of the oldest races in the country. #runchat
Yep, this is me too!
A5) hahaha at the last Ragnar I had that thought but the next morning I was looking at the schedule for next year! #runchat
A3) I like to run a Ragnar every year but like to do a different one each year. In 2026 weβre planning to do the new one in Clearwater Fl

A2) incorporating regular speed workouts into my routine. Game changer! #runchat
Letβs just say there have been a couple of times where Iβve finished a run with one fewer article of clothing then I started with. π¬ when youβve got to go, youβve GOT to go!

Penn State fans everywhere
Congrats on the PR!
Brag) logged my most weekly miles in more than a month this week, even though I wasnβt able to get mg typical Saturday long run in this weekend. #runchat
Good one!!
Thatβs a good one!
A7) mind over matter. I just keep telling myself that although my head is telling me to quit, I know for a fact that my body can absolutely keep going and going and going #runchat
Itβs such a perfect song to run to!
A5) or just about anything by the Foo Fighters. And for a race finishing songβ¦Rage, killing in the name of
Not sure yet. I just crossed 500β¦so Iβm on pace to do 650 for sure. If I want to do a stretch goal I could probably target 700. Iβve been doing almost 20/week lately so I could probably target 700.
A4) thanksgiving day race and crossing some milestone number of miles to be determined #runchat
A3) I love different aspects of every season. Fall is just amazing because of the cool weather and color. Winter is great because of our famous heated sidewalks in holland. Spring because you get to see flowers emerging and donβt need as many layers. And summerβ¦because itβs summer. #runchat
A2) stress fracture in my fibula. Iβve talked about this one before. It was a real bugger that gave me problems for years. Overcoming it just took lots of time and learning to know how to listen to my body when my bones get cranky and unhappy. #runchat
A) hmmmm, I canβt really say for sure but I think 2008 or 2009 #runchat.
Beautiful evening for a run.

To do 1,000 miles in a year. Iβve been doing almost 20 miles a week all summer so itβs definitely achievable. But Iβve never made it a priority and never really come close. #runchat
In 2015 I was ramping up miles too quick in the spring and ended up with a stress fracture. Itβs caused me lingering issues for years. I wish I would have recognized what was going on before it got to that point and just shut things down or at least dialed back #runchat
