From politics to sports, Reddit conversations narrow and intensify before major events, new research finds A network scientist at Northeastern in London, found that interactions on various topics developed in similar ways on Reddit.

@ric-dicle.bsky.social and colleagues, took an in-depth look at the way online #Reddit conversations were influencing the “offline” world and vice versa, with interest & interactions becoming more frenetic as we get closer to the event.
