Oh, a trend I can participate in? 👀

Ariana is currently 24/25, she came to Eorzea at 19/20. When she had mostly/all grey hair she definitely looked so much older than she actually was. As her hair color comes back, she's started to look younger than before but she still looks like she's in her late 20's/early 30's.

But she’s so oblivious because - oh that’s her best friend but FUCK something has been changing since they ran from Ul’dah and WHY IS HE LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT-

Andddd of course, he’s blind as hell so she chooses these nice stylish Hunter green glasses and makes the remark how now he can see everything’s beauty much more vividly and he just- proceeds to flirt with her and now he can see the woman he fell in love with better.

Long story short, Limar went years needing glasses and stubbornly never got them. So they made a deal if they saw an eye doctor (because canonically I hold that Ishgard has some of the best eye doctors, I can explain in another post) and they told him he needed them, that she’d pick his glasses out.

Seeing @aguichart.bsky.social ‘s new comic reminds me of Ariana and Y’limar’s moment of - giving them something that becomes a part of their signature look and I just 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Good god- y'know I don't get the whole "give unsolicited advice" thing in dungeons. Yes you're a mentor but like-

Frankly, the way I run my mentor stuff is I don't give advice or directions unless asked. And I know some don't believe the same but its worked for me.

So - Ariana was a very avid reader prior to her adventuring days. She loved a good action/adventure book and, though she often played off how cliche most were, romance novels. She still occasionally reads, however… things like… participating in the Arcadion and… the end of the world often stop her.
