There are some ridiculously good tracks on that album. Weirdly, I feel like I never really connected to another one after that. But that happens.
It almost hit 80 degrees here which is pretty bananas. But it's sunny and it certainly helped my mood rolling down my windows and listening to some music with the wind whipping around me. I was jamming some Ladyhawk. youtu.be/1N3htdoJLnY?...
I would, respectfully, make one addition, though.
Stumbled across this one today. Something nice to balance out all the horrors.

No one must know who is... The Master of Shearhaven!
The strange estate of Shearhaven was built on the cliffs overlooking the Mississippi long before Illinois was even a state. But is it a safe haven? A prison? Or something even darker. My gothic horror / dark fantasy novel is available now #BookSky

I remember buying that. Aggggh.

Oh man, tonight is the final episode of the final season of THE LAST DRIVE IN. Iβve been a fan from minute one and it was a real bucket list item to be able to take part and guest on an episode in its final season. Much love to Joe Bob, Darcy, and the whole LDI crew. You guys made something special.
I hope The Last Drive In continues in some form somewhere. I feel like there are lots of avenues, and people would show up (like they do for Rifftrax/MST3K) for a Kickstarter or whatever to fund more in whatever fashion.
Damn. That really sucks. It can't be that expensive of a show considering the community and viewers it brings in.
In the Dark of the Grove. A small-town / folk horror novel about a man who returns home to sell his family's farm, years after he was kicked out for being gay. But more than just old friends, enemies, and bittersweet memories await him. Essen, Indiana has many secrets yearning for the light #Books
My dad was like this with Don't Worry, Be Happy.
It looks spectacular for sure!
Yeah, I remember that, the way they shot them really helped. There was a sense of movement and atmosphere that really helped sell them.Watching the Blu Rays for the first time in this rewatch, I actually thought they might have remastered the effects but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I'm only five episodes in (counting the miniseries) but I'm loving it, still. Of course, the themes are still horrifically relevant, in some ways. I think all of the 2003 BSG effects are all digital. But, considering the money they had, they're really well done still.
Rewatching BSG, and found out Katee Sackhoff is watching it for the first time. Pretty fantastic to watch. youtu.be/HK4wgx8TbrU?...
The world is on fire but I just want to say that I love that there are people out there working through trauma by making cool art. It brings me joy. Keep doing that.

Hoping the second book lives up to the promise of the first.
I thought the market in Ukeck was really well realized, especially for (presumably) a one-off episode. I was a bit sad to see Jay-Den a little sidelined with Tarema, but hey we need characters on both sides of the storyline, I guess. The set-up for the finale was interesting.

I really enjoyed ep9 of Starfleet Academy. For everyone who thought Tatiana Maslany was "wasted" in the first ep, I think everyone is going to see why we needed an actor of her caliber in the mix with Hunter now. :) I loved the changes in SAM, and Genesis's reaction. I miss Lura.

Trying to decide which book to read next. After Wuthering Heights, I need a modern book for my brain. Here are the two I'm thinking of next. Any of you #BookSky folks have an opinion between the two? I've got both sitting in a stack.

Heya! It was in Microsoft Outlook for Mac Version 16.106.2. I've included screenshots of what the alert looked like, and a screenshot of where it's controlled in Outlook/Settings. Hope that helps! :)
Glad Noem is out. But it's like Orange flushing his golden toilet. You know he's just going to drop another turd in there.
Thereβs a toggle off function in settings so at least itβs easy
