Our colleagues @healthequals.bsky.socialβ's Hazmat Loungewear campaign was designed to cut through, spotlighting the problem of non-decent homes.
Tom Chapman reflects on how they ensured their most disruptive campaign to date was purposeful, not performativeβ¬οΈ

Text: The Government's investigation into economic activity and health among young people is a welcome recognition of the importance of understanding young people's experiences and transitions from education to working life. There is compelling evidence of a significant decline in young people's mental health in the UK over the last decade. Understanding what's driving this decline is key to knowing how to reverse it
What barriers do young people face in participating in employment, education or training? And what would help overcome them? The Milburn investigation is seeking evidence and insight from anyone with relevant lived experience, knowledge and expertise. Deadline is 30 Jan www.gov.uk/government/c...

Across the UK, that number can be as high as 16.
We asked rapper and campaigner Darren McGarvey what he thought was driving this - to him the answers are obvious.

28% of people reported living in a home that has problems with damp, mould or cold
As the weather gets cooler, damp and mould become more and more prevalent as warm air from daily life, such as cooking, washing and breathing, meets cold air forming condensation.
With less air flow due to closed windows to keep warm, moisture becomes trapped inside, worsening these issues.
