Hey everybody, for the sake of my health, please do not tell me what our wonderful government did that has the country upset.

I’m just gonna draw, be happy and hope this blows just like every CE involving the orange man.

As much as I probably should be informed about what I am hearing about that current event, I’m just not.

my more politically cautious moots can call me petty and careless if they want, I just don’t want my anxieties to skyrocket.

One positive pro I WILL give Bluesky over Twitter is that I can easily get back to posts I see in my timeline that I REALLY like and have an easier time finding them to do other things with.

It’s also probably because I haven’t followed so many people on BS yet, but it’s still cool.

If there’s anything this angry, sad and just plain negative decade of the 2020s has shown us, we are more aware of this nonsense and we can fight it if we’re angry enough.

I’m not saying this is going to be quick, but I have a feeling something unexpected is going to be a light in the tunnel.

It would be very ironic if Disney of all companies were the one to say “Um…No?!” to a super monopoly merger like this given their past.

I would actually laugh if that happened. XD

Still a bummer that most probably won’t get a chance go to the industry like I’ve dreamed and hoped for since I was a teenager.😔

Oh well. I’m also perfectly fine drawing characters and cartoon stories for myself while hunting for another paying career.

Look at it this way, maybe if the Parama and WB merger go super south they’ll back off.

Or implode, there is no in between.

Hopefully maybe it gets so bad they break it off, but I doubt it, knowing how desperate they’ve been over the years.

I sense VERY bleak times for the WHOLE entertainment industry next year, not just one medium.😞

It can’t be a coincidence I had the urge to binge Hannah Montana throughout this month.

It’s almost like Miley and Disney were watching me specifically.

But it’s very nice that this is happening. Very cool that Miley is still sentimental about HM and her beginnings.

Oh shit. They’re even delisting the original Christen Whitehead ports of these games now.

Get them while you can folks. The phone ports are still the best versions of these games because (unlike Origins) you can actually replay stages in a file once you cleared it for emeralds.

Just in case I don’t get a themed drawing in before the day’s over, Happy Valentine’s Day to those celebrating with loved ones, a special someone, or just loving yourself.

Yep, things are looking the bleakest they’ve ever looked in this industry to date. At least in the 80’s when creative cartoonist hated their jobs making marquee slop there were still plenty of jobs.

But I think the industry will bounce back being again. These ruts always happen, but they stop.

Gotcha. Watching your health is always important.

As for Chips Ahoy cookies, nowadays I still like them once in a while but they are nowhere near the best packaged cookies on the market today.

My preferences are either Keebler’s chocolate chip or baked if I’m eating cookies at all.

Eh, I could still eat a classic bowl of Frosted Flakes or Lucky Charms if I needed some sugar from my cereal.

But I am definitely done with gimmicky sugary cereals like Cookie Crisp and such. I thought I’d be eating Chips Ahoy, not the chocolate Pops I typically get with Reese’s Puffs.

I remember only fat middle-aged people before my time liking KISS anyway.

Gene sounds like an absolute dumbass, plain and simple.

Introduces some interesting ideas, but I’d rather watch the original trilogy of Star Wars films.

If I’m in the mood to watch Star Wars anything honestly. This fanbase frightens me.

I am so sad & angry that such a disgraced low life artist like Doug TenNapel created such a funny character like Earthworm Jim. Fun shows like EJ, Geeker and Catscratch don’t deserve a bum creator like him.

As someone who wants to be a Christian artist working in the industry, it’s such a shame.

Consider my tiny Canadian VA talk as a PSA to not do that.

No matter if it’s Tom Kenny, to Grey DeLise in California or Lee Tocker to Kathleen Barr in Canada. Every person in the voiceover industry has talent and needs cash to pay bills.

Let’s not label ANY VAs as inferior.

With the current discussion of Canadian cartoons, I have a confession to make:

I used to have a very bad bias of Canadian VAs because most of the media I heard their talent in was not very good. Basically if I didn’t hear California VAs like Tom Kenny, the toon was trash.

I grew out of that.

Just as a reminder:

ICE is BAD! It’s a deportation force created by evil people in office to harass, hurt, and even murder minorities.

Simply put: If you support ICE, I don’t support you!

Well, it’s a very lucky thing I personally don’t pay for Netflix in my family.

My poultry money ain’t going to find any AI slop. Nope.

Yeah, that’s something those really bad Spumco/John K hose suckers that toxically bash these cartoons really need to understand.

There’s nothing wrong with disliking modern cartoons aesthetics, but either educate yourself, or understand why artist can’t say no to lamer designs.

My access to BS is limited to only my phone ATM. My iPad’s getting a little bit too stuffed w/ storage, so I had to make some sacrifices to save space.

Saludos Amigos. I remember when I was a little kid having a Disney VHS obsession and I saw that cassette at the Walmart I went to. I wanted to buy it, but my mom warned me that it was only in Spanish.

I know it was made for Latin countries, but was this movie produced in English? I forget. XD
