Duck tetherball! Giving our residents food in novel ways is just one of the methods we use to provide them with mental stimulation and enrichment.

When I played softball as a kid our coaches always told us the same thing each game:
'Treat everyone with respect, follow the rules of the game, do your best, and have fun'
Why can't sports be about that anymore?

A towel draped over a window that a family of birds have started building a nest in on the other side so they have privacy. They are protected by a lean to style storage shed we put up with only up high entrances in corners so unlikely a stray cat or other predators could get to them much less bad weather. I'm excited 😊

There, now mom and dad birb can feel safer and we can sneak peek now and then 😉

I'm going to go drape a towel or something over that window so they have some more privacy

a bird nest being built inside a storage area we built off the back side of our house, I'm hoping us randomly going in and out doesn't scare them off, it really is a good safe sheltered spot for baby birds to grow

I really really hope they don't give up on this nest and we get to watch a family grow ❤️

I looked my prego dr in the eye and said I wouldn't take a pill he wanted to give me for acid reflux I didn't have but would have if I took it

sounds like those pills are the problem, I remember when I was a kid and they pushed bc pills on every girl who had any kind of weird period symptoms and some got really messed up

remember: Dr's are not police, they can't force you to take a pill, if it's making you that sick, don't take it

this is how introverts socialize, it's me, I'm the introvert sitting in the corner of the bar by herself just smiling and nodding politely
