Honestly, I don't remember any references from 80-90's shows (and I don't know who Steve Martin is 😅), but I know I've heard of this play somewhere long time ago. I'm glad I can have the book for a very small price (It probably helps that the book is often used for schools studies).

It mades me want to learn more of it, like always when FGO make me discover something. And the fact there's so much layers in that story between the inspirations of the characters, the story and the characters themselves kinda make me want to watch an accurate movie of it. I'll go for a book though.

Meanwhile, FGO is making me discover the story of Cyrano de Bergerac (something I knew from name only) which is a better love triangle than whatever I've seen in many medias these last years.

I think it's very funny when some internet white knight try to drag a (often male) creator through the mud by accusing them of being misogynistic for any reason, but actually shows off how misogynistic they are themselves.

I made my bro watch both movies. He truly loved it, think they're great and all. I'm glad he agrees with me on this. Also, he was very receptive to the messages of the second movie too. The whole question of not being defined by others and fighting for a truer world.

Seriously, I can't with Aegiomon repeating for the 100th time "I'll protect you, Inori" and putting entire worlds in danger over his obsession. And Inori being a huge egotistical character with no depth or usefulness, which is quite a feat given my MC is basically a freakin' pebble.

I should finish Digimon Story Time Stranger. I'm at the last boss (I think), but I kinda got overwhelmed with all the secondary quests that unlocked right before it. So far, I'm not sure I'll buy DLCs, I don't want to be more disappointed. I'm also sick of Aegiomon and Inori. Shitty ass characters 😑
