Also I realize a lot of people define their goodness by how much money they are willing to give other people without getting any back. Don’t have that problem. Can’t relate. But this factored into it a great deal. The man tailored parts of his scams based on how he read each person. Diabolical.

I was listening to a news story this morning while getting ready for work, which is my favorite morning tradition, and it was about this guy scamming his community like out of millions. My theory about why otherwise smart people get scammed held true: greed and self importance.

I have to give people grace. Sometimes people just aren’t ready. Not my problem though.
